What's Rise About?

What does it mean to be a part of Rise, LGC's youth group? Ephesians 2:21 says, "In Him, the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord." We believe we are the temple of God, with Christ as our cornerstone, and we each serve as part of the holy temple that includes all believers. At Rise, the Bible is taught and studied, and we are growing meaningful relationships that extend outside Wednesday evening gatherings.

The mission of Rise is to show students Christ's love and grace by meeting the students where they are, building a biblical understanding of the gospel, guiding them on how to apply that understanding in their own lives, and how to share it with others. We endeavor to create lifelong laborers who are passionately seeking to glorify God and making Him known to the world around them.

Come visit us and grow with us! We meet every Wednesday at 6:30 at Westside Park's Pavilion, 6th-12th grades.
